The district of Nørrebro is located northwest of the City Centre bordering Frederiksberg, North-West, Østerbro as well as the City Centre.
Nørrebro is mostly known for being one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in Copenhagen and this mix of people and cultures makes Nørrebro a very vibrant and dynamic area.
The main artery in Nørrebro is the partly traffic-free Nørrebrogade, where you will find many interesting shops as well as great cafés and ethnic restaurants. Especially the area around St. Hans Torv is a favourite place to go for coffee among the locals.
Nørrebro is also a perfect place to go hunting for antiques and handicraft. The cobblestone street Jægersborggade is well-known for design and retro products, as well as the Berlin-esqe atmosphere.
